I create a safe environment where you and your family members can talk about your experiences, express your feelings, and describe your problems and issues. It’s very important for each person to be allowed to express themselves in a non-judgmental environment and be acknowledged for what they are feeling and experiencing without being blamed or criticized.
When working with individuals, couples, families, or children who are experiencing issues, I believe the most important step is to allow each person to talk about their experiences. We will explore the interactions each person has with each other and I will help to improve the communication between all parties involved.
We work together to find productive solutions to conflicts that exist among the family members by introducing tools and techniques to create peace and harmony within the family relations.
Based on the needs given the particular issues or problems that are being experienced in the family, I will use the appropriate therapy technique to facilitate positive change and resolve conflict.
I am well experienced and proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Object Relation Therapy, and EMDR.
